The faculty and staff at Yorktown Junior High welcome you back to the 2009-2010 school year. We are very excited to have the privilege to work with each of our students as we help "prepare for the future."

Junior High school is a special time for our students as they are growing into young men and women. The job for our students is to be the best they can be dedicating themselves to do well academically. We encourage each student to also take an active role in his/her school. The school offers many opportunities for students to be involved in many extra-curricular events.

Our philosophy at YJHS is that we are a family that must support each other and treat each other with respect and kindness. This family includes faculty, staff, students, parents, and the community.

The faculty and staff are always available to help. If at anytime you need anything, please feel free to ask any faculty or staff member for assistance.
