DRESS CODE

DRESS CODE – BOYS

Shirts must be tucked inside of pants/shorts.
All pants/shorts must be worn with the waistline at waist level.
All pants/shorts with belt loops must be worn with a belt.
Boys must be clean shaven; mustaches, beards, and wigs are prohibited.
Hair must be clean, neat, and well-groomed. It must be cut so that it does not touch the top of the collar of a dress shirt.
Hair must not extend over the top of the ear.
Hair cannot be over the eyebrow.
Multi-colored hair (excluding hi-lights) is prohibited. Hair coloring must be a naturally-occurring color.
Sideburns must be uniform width and not extend below the bottom of the ear.
“Tails” of any kind are prohibited.
Bare feet are prohibited.
House shoes are prohibited.
Shower shoes are prohibited.
Steel toe shoes, boots, etc. are prohibited.
Shoe strings must be tied or tucked into the shoe.
Bandannas will not be worn or displayed during school or at school-related activities.
Any clothing or accessory which is considered to be gang related will not be permitted.
Clothing with skulls is prohibited.
Undergarments will be worn as such, not as outer wear (i.e. undershirts).
No caps, hats, or hoods will be worn in the school building.
Visible tattoos are prohibited.
Writing and/or drawing on body is dangerous and prohibited.
Any jewelry deemed distracting or dangerous by the faculty and staff is not permitted.
Mouth jewelry is prohibited (“grills”).
Nose rings and body piercing is prohibited.
The earlobe-stretching practice known as “gauging” is prohibited.

DRESS CODE – GIRLS

Girls will be permitted to wear dresses, skirts, or shorts if the length is not shorter than their finger tips.
Sweaters and vests designed to wear over blouses must be worn with a blouse/shirt underneath.
Hair must be clean, well-groomed, and cut or styled to be kept out of the eyes.
Multi-colored hair (excluding hi-lights) is prohibited. Hair coloring must be a naturally-occurring color.
Bare shoulders and backs are prohibited. Shoulder straps must be at least one inch wide, and bra straps must not be exposed.
Midriffs are prohibited.
Halter tops, low necklines, crop tops, and see-through attire will not be permitted.
