On February 15, 2017, Yorktown ISD (partnered with “Who We Play For” and The Yorktown Athletic Booster Club) will be providing cardiac screenings for all students in grades 6-12 that are in (or will be next school year) athletics , Marching band, or Cheerleading. Cardiac screening will consist of a 12 lead ECG screening. They will be required to take their shirts off. We will do girls and boys separately and with supervision. Girls will be permitted to leave sports bras on for the screening. Athletic Booster club is going to donate the cost of the screening for any child that gets screened on February 15, 2017. Please sign consent form and return to the school prior to 2-15-2017. Students will NOT be screened without a signed consent form.
